Table Top
I kept shading and lighting in this one to a minimum because i didnt want to spend several hours making this piece. I've always liked simplicity anyway, not every artists needs to have a super realistic drawing style. Everybody's a little different, and so is their art. At first i used to laugh at Picasso's work because it looked like a 5 year old kid could produce it, but after a while it didnt seem so bad. I mean, could you imagine if everybody's artwork looked the same? What a nightmare that would be.

Painting - Green FLower
A digital painting of a green flower next to a sunset. Not very impressive although i do like how the sunset turned out. No reference images were used in making this, it was all done from imagination... although you could probably already tell. Ive noticed how most beginning artist's have a tendency to make things look very flat whenever they draw anything without using a reference. Although this painting here is somewhere in between flat and three dimensional.....2.5D?...lol

Vector Art - Self Portrait
This is a self portrait i did while learning how to do vector style art. For those who dont know what vector graphics is, it's a form of scalable graphics based on geometrical primitives such as lines, curves, polygons, and points. Art created using vector based modeling can be scaled up indefinitely and never lose quality, where as rasterized formats such as jpeg, gif, png ect... they all get pixelated when scaled up or magnified.
Now for simplicity's sake ive posted a rasterized version of my self portrait because uploading the .svg file seem to be a little tricky and i like to keep things simple ^_^.

Deep Paint 2.0
Oh and btw, This program is completely free, which is kind of a big deal considering this same program used to sell for around $299 when it was first released. So everyone with a digital pen tablet should have this program in their computer.

Jessica Rabbit
Man...what'a woman!...Jessica Rabbit from the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". She may be a cartoon but she can steal your heart in a heartbeat. This is my first time doing a drawing in full color with shading... Not bad for a first try. I was listening to the soundtrack to this while trying to think of something to draw and Jessica was the first one that pop'd into my head. At first i was just gonna leave it as a sketch like usual but soon as the sketch was over i wanted to keep going. I remember watching the movie thinking " how the hell did they do that". Who Framed Roger Rabbit ( for those who dont know) is a movie where live actors and cartoon characters interact together ( something that has never been done before in a feature film ). If you havn't seen this movie before, go watch it right now!

Mortal Kombat - Sheeva
I wish I could have done a bit better on the face but oh well. Sheeva from the game Mortal Kombat (why do they spell it with a K?...) One of the most goriest, violent games in its time. Im surprised it ever made it to store shelves with the amount of blood and violence it had. One year previous, Id Software had launched its Wolfenstine 3d with moderate gore and violence, but soon after MK came out they decided to ride the bandwagon and developed and released the game Doom....(drool)...... The 90's were when violence and video gaming began their long lived love affair and have been together ever since ^_^.

Spiderman - Mysterio
One of the lesser known villains from the Spiderman universe. Mysterio....or as I used to call him "Fish Bowl Head". Just looking at him invoked a sense of mystery ... because his appearance dosnt tell us much about his abilities or background....but then again i guess that was the whole idea.

Mickey Mouse
Another day, another doodle. I should start finding harder stuff to draw cause drawing easy stuff wont get me anywhere....but it is fun to draw and whenever im feeling lazy i can just whip something up real quick. This drawing was from the Disney movie Fantasia, starring that love able, broom murdering mouse, Mickey Mouse.

One Piece - Monkey D. Luffy
A quick sketch of the main character of One Piece , Monkey D. Luffy. I've always wondered why this show was #3 most watched anime. For the longest time i wouldnt watch an episode because i thought the art was really tacky. But now that im knee deep in the series i've come to appreciate the art style that the creator used. Its totally origional and unique, unlike 99% of the other anime / manga's out on the market.
Again, theres no video with this one because im feeling lazy today lol.

One Piece - Sanji
If Sanji had any skills when it came to women, we'd be seeing scenes like this on every episode. There wont be a video to this because there was a bad storm last night and the power went out a few times so i lost all of my undo history...again.... At first i thought this drawing was going to turn out really crappy because i have a hard time drawing human characters but surprisingly it turned out pretty nice. It might not be professional level art but i still like it.

Sylvester and Tweety
I was thinking about what i wanted to draw for today's post so i originally picked Tweety because he was a really simple character and i could draw him in twenty minutes or less... But then i wanted to draw him all cool looking so i made him look like a samurai lol. But then i wanted Sylvester in the drawing as well.... To make a long story short i only wanted to spend twenty minutes and ended up spending a bit longer on it.
What made me want to draw this, is the fact that i always hated how hapless and weak Tweety always is. This poor little bird always being chased around. I wanted to make a bad ass "Samurai Champloo" kind of Tweety hahaha!

Darkwing Duck
Darkwing Duck, i used to love watching that show as a kid. I would have the intro music stuck in my head for days singing along to it. I wonder how many reading this blog remember this show.
